Carter Niemeyer was a key player in capturing wolves in Canada for the federal wolf reintroduction in the mid 90's that were released in Idaho and Yellowstone National Park. Carter worked for Wildlife Services as a federal trapper,wolf specialist and then retired as the Wolf Recovery Coordinator in Idaho after 26 years of service. Carter has written two books Wolfer a Memoir and Wolf Land (Bottleflypress.com). Carter continues to educate ranchers and others on coexisting with wolves and other predators.
